Google Maps hits UK
Google Maps is now Beta for UK - it's fantastic! (I'm not a Google fan-boy, honest!) I've been looking at some of the hacks for it and settled on mygmaps.com. Here's a look at what I've done by way of a custom map It shows some of the places I go to all the time - schools, uni etc. Scrollable, scaling, centres on double-click, and i can even add my own flags! I'm so sold on it already, mapquest is a thing of the past! All I'm waiting for now is for satelite photos to be proper high-res for the UK. Not that will be sweet! (in a geeky mood!)Posted by hounddog32 at April 20, 2005 11:01 PM
