Colonize!
The last couple of days i have re-discovered a game i used to love, back in the day: Colonization (sic).
i found these forum posts[abandonia.com] with a download link (it's a wrong linke - this is the right place to download from) and some tips on running it on XP. copying links from the posts, you can download DOSBox[dosbox.sourceforge.net], which is an emulation environment for linux and newer windows (>2K) which allows you to run old (dos based) games like Col. the wiki at the site is good, look at the Basic Setup and Installation of DosBox page for a good intro to using it.
And yes, i kicked ass, way more than when i was a teenager!
